About Beginner to Factorum
Beginner to Factorum is an edited survival playthrough with an educational angle. It is not a conventional step-by-step beginner guide, but the series spends time explaining the engineering and progression decisions that happen naturally during the run.
The journey
The run begins on an Earthlike planet with a drop pod and a long-term objective: progress far enough to confront the Factorum and reach their advanced technology.
- Establish an early base and resource supply.
- Build rovers and mining ships.
- Reach space and establish a station.
- Develop larger engineering projects and combat capability.
- Prepare for the final confrontation with the Factorum.
